Good Samaritan Ministry

Good Samaritan Overview
The Good Samaritan Transportation Ministry provides transportation for seniors, individuals with mobility challenges, and children of KLCMC, enabling them to attend worship services and participate in the life of the church.

Currently, four dedicated volunteer drivers faithfully serve every Sunday morning, travelling throughout the Cheras area to pick up worshippers and bring them to church. After the service, they ensure everyone returns home safely.

Through this ministry, we desire to remove transportation barriers so that more people can gather with God’s people in worship. Our prayer is that all who desire to come before the Lord may have the opportunity to do so.

Purpose of the Ministry

Newcomers Welcome Ministry

Newcomers Welcome Ministry Overview
We warmly welcome every first-time visitor to our Sunday worship service with a heartfelt "Welcome Home!" Through friendly hospitality, welcome packs, and coffee, we hope each newcomer feels loved, valued, and at home.

Newcomers Welcome Ministry Purpose
To welcome first-time visitors, help them experience the warmth of the church, and connect them to a cell group for continued fellowship and spiritual growth.

Activities & Programmes

The First Step in Welcoming Newcomers

Welcome first-time visitors on Sundays, assist with registration, present a welcome pack, share coffee and conversation, and offers prayer. Follow up afterward by sending their photos and a church welcome card to help them stay connected.

Alpha

Alpha Overview
Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that explore life, faith, and the Christian message in a relaxed and open environment. KLCMC offers both Chinese and English Alpha courses to meet the needs of different language groups.

Through engaging videos, real-life stories, and meaningful discussions, Alpha provides a welcoming space for anyone curious about life’s big questions and the Christian faith.

Purpose of Alpha
To provide seekers with an opportunity to explore and understand the Christian faith.

Activities & Programmes

The Program of Alpha

Each Alpha session includes a meal, worship, a video, and small group discussion, providing a welcoming space to explore life, faith, and Christianity.

Alpha is held twice a year. Please refer to church announcements for upcoming dates.

Blessing Group

Blessing Group Overview
Blessing Group is designed for seekers (BEST) to explore the Christian faith in a warm and welcoming environment. Hosted in homes, each gathering includes food, worship, games, testimonies, a short message, and prayer, creating a joyful space for friendship and faith conversations.

Blessing Group Purpose
To provide a bridge for seekers to explore Christianity in a comfortable home setting and connect them to the church community.
